Public interview “What Does It Mean to Be a Ukrainian Artist?” with Nikita Kadan will be the closing event of the exhibition Looking into the Gaps IV.
Looking into the Gaps is an exhibition cycle curated by artist Nikita Kadan, in which he approaches the history of Ukrainian art as a history of ruptures: interrupted narratives, losses, rewritings, and the constant rethinking of one’s place between periphery and center, between the collective “we” and the personal “I.”
In his artistic practice, Nikita Kadan works with socially engaged and political art, exploring themes of historical memory, collective experience, and the role of art in society. The interview will take place in the format of an open conversation, with all questions asked by the audience. You can leave your question in the registration form or ask it directly during the event.
