Antoine D’Agata is a French photographer, director, member of the Magnum Photos agency, and Niépce Prize winner. In his creative practice, he often works with taboo topics such as sex, various forms of addiction, and violence. For the Beyond the Silence project, Antoine explores post-war territories and countries where war is ongoing, and tries to visually comprehend the limits of violence committed by people against people.
During the conversation, we will talk about the author’s methodology of working with complex topics, learn about the process of forming the Theorem project and the further transformation of the visual installation into a book format.
