This time, the academic trio SENZA SFORZANDO from Odesa will perform with the project “Ukrainian Women Artists with Their Weapons”. The trio commissioned the project at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. These are vocal works by Carmella Tseppolenko, Hanna Kopiika, Asmati Chibalashvili, Kira Maidenberg-Todorova, Alla Zahaykevych based on poems by Oksana Zabuzhko, Lina Kostenko, Yulia Dmytrenko-Despotashvili, Valeria Zhygalina, and Iya Kiva. Each work reflects in its own way on the topics of war, history, femininity, and humanity.

In general, the Senza Sforzando ensemble specializes in chamber music of the XX-XXI centuries, performing works from the avant-garde to contemporary compositions. The ensemble was founded in 2001 in Odesa by pianist and conductor Oleksandr Perepelytsia.
