As part of the exhibition on self-organized art initiatives, we are creating a temporary self-organized space for teenagers—both those who have participated in previous educational programs at Jam Factory Art Center and those who live nearby and use its grounds as a place to spend their free time.
Through this project, we aim to create a situation in which the relationship between the institution and teenagers becomes more open and reciprocal, taking into account the interests and needs of both sides. We believe that mutual respect and an understanding of the context of the place can help build a deeper and more meaningful connection.
Over the course of three days, participants will get to know Jam Factory Art Center and how it works, go behind the scenes of the institution, meet members of its team, create their own DIY space within the former jam factory, and stage an exhibition there.
The program will be facilitated by 20P_, an art community for teenagers and young people from Chernivtsi.

Day 2 — July 29, 3:00 PM
Scenography Without Theatre — a workshop led by Vika Halatiak, artist, scenographer, and member of 20P_.
Participants will create a teen pop-up space on the grounds of Jam Factory using leftover materials from previous exhibitions and productions.
Day 3 — July 30, 3:00 PM
Collage Workshop & Exhibition
A workshop led by Nika Klianchyna, artist and member of the 20P_ community.
Together, participants will create collages and assemblages (3D collages) using paper scraps, old books and magazines, fabric, wire, glitter, and other found materials.
The program will conclude with a collaborative exhibition in the newly created space, followed by an opening event.
