December 25-27 | 19:00
Jam Factory Art Center Auditorium Квитки
Tickets

The program is inspired by the idea of creating a place for Christmas meetings, support and musical freedom. In times of daily tragedy, anxiety and destruction, we want to provide an opportunity to stay in a temporary shelter, a place of strength, a kind of safe center of music.

Through jazz interpretations of traditional Ukrainian and world famous melodies, we share the Christmas atmosphere to be together and support each other.

Program:

December 25 at 19:00 – Silent evening of poetry and jazz by Tamara Lukasheva

The solo acoustic program presented by Tamara Lukasheva is a subtle and elegant combination of sound and words. It is an absorption into another dimension and space, where time flows differently. The sound of acoustic piano and voice are framed by the Word. Tamara uses poems by Yevhen Pluzhnyk, Vasyl Stus, Lina Kostenko, and Tony Cornuta, and sings in German poems by the romantics Clemens Brentano and Novalis. Also on this quiet Christmas evening, carols will be performed in a gentle and cozy arrangement.

Tamara Lukasheva is a Ukrainian jazz singer, pianist, composer, and arranger.
