In 2026, we will continue the programs launched last year: “Ukrainian Gems,” “New Classics,” and “Cult Classics”. We aim to screen films that may have fallen out of focus, as well as those worth revisiting and discussing within a community of people who love cinema.
We also plan to add a lecture component: we will talk about the complex history of Ukrainian cinema and create a separate program dedicated to films for teenagers.
Weekly screenings will be accompanied by post-screening discussions.
We will curate several thematic programs in collaboration with Ukrainian filmmakers, distributors, and film festivals.
- “Cult Classics” will revisit beloved—or divisive—films from the past, reflecting on how our views of them have evolved and how cinema, and the world at large, have changed.
- “New Classics” will spotlight more recent films that deserve continued discussion and fresh perspectives.
- “Ukrainian Gems” will showcase Ukrainian films from the post-independence era, starting with the past decade, a period of remarkable resurgence in Ukrainian cinema.
Film screenings will take place every Wednesday in their original language with Ukrainian or English subtitles.
