The Jam Factory Art Center’s 2025 Film Program is a conversation about the world around us, our place in it, and how cinema works. Film introductions and post-screening discussions will accompany weekly screenings of classics of world cinema and Ukrainian hidden gems.

By integrating cinema into a cultural hub that already hosts exhibitions, theater performances, and musical events, we aim to expand the conversation about films and forge connections between diverse artistic disciplines and audiences.

We will curate several thematic programs in collaboration with Ukrainian filmmakers, distributors, and film festivals.

  • “Cult Classics” will revisit beloved—or divisive—films from the past, reflecting on how our views of them have evolved and how cinema, and the world at large, have changed.
  • “New Classics” will spotlight more recent films that deserve continued discussion and fresh perspectives.
  • “Ukrainian Gems” will showcase Ukrainian films from the post-independence era, starting with the past decade, a period of remarkable resurgence in Ukrainian cinema.

Film screenings will take place every Friday in their original language with Ukrainian or English subtitles.
