Special Screening of “The Illusion of a Quiet Night” — Directed by Olha Chernykh
On October 28 at 6:30 PM, Jam Factory Art Center will screen a documentary capturing a single summer night in Ukraine.
On the night of July 27–28, 2025, forty cinematographers and hundreds of people filmed life across the country — from the northern forests to the front line and temporarily occupied territories. Their stories form a collective portrait of a society living between fear, exhaustion, brief moments of joy, and hope.
The film received a Special Mention in the Burning Lights section at Visions du Réel 2026.
