In October of 2022 we implemented the art residency “How we stay together” with the support of the MagicCarpets by inviting families with children to be part in performing artistic practices to help restore the warm way of communication in the family that was affected by war. Ponchos created during this residency became a part of the “Forms of Presence” exhibition.
“The focus of the exhibition is on the “new materiality” and also on portraying the process of how the painters are changing their artistic practices after the full scale invasion. Also, it’s important to us to show the method of cooperation with the community and portray it in the exposition,” – said the co-curators Natasha Chychasova and Oleksandr Soloviov.
