Jam Factory Art Center is a contemporary art institution that plays a key role in reflecting and presenting contemporary processes in Ukrainian and international art and culture, opening opportunities for public dialogue.

Performative Projects Manager

We are looking for someone who is passionate about theatre, enjoys working with people, and is eager to contribute to the development of a new theatre scene.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning and coordinating projects and programs within the theatre field
  • Collaborating with the Curator of Performative Programs and the Production Manager
  • Project budgeting
  • Searching for and writing grant applications
  • Coordinating cooperation with local and international partners and foundations
  • Managing international projects
  • Preparing reports

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of project management experience
  • Understanding of current processes in contemporary culture and art
  • Knowledge of contemporary theatre practices
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher

Electrician

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring uninterrupted operation of electrical networks and installations
  • Maintenance, operation, and ongoing repair of internal and external electrical systems and equipment
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and basic knowledge of automation
  • Ensuring proper condition, safe, and reliable operation of equipment, electrical systems, and generators
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Participation in general maintenance tasks
  • Assisting with technical electrical setup of spaces for exhibitions and other events

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and regulations
  • Responsible approach to assigned tasks

Working conditions:

  • 40-hour work week
  • Personal workspace, staff parking, kitchen, shower, free access to art center events, and involvement in Jam Factory Art Center programs
  • Provision of uniform, tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Training and onboarding provided
