Stop. Breathe. Feel.
SLEEPING UNDER BODHI TREE is an immersive evening of sound and movement.
A space for slowing down, being present, and mindful observation.
Instead of meditation — sleep.
Instead of enlightenment — an attempt to rest in a world that offers no peace.
Mykhailo Baloh (music) and Mariia Bakalo (movement) create an atmosphere where everything that happens might be a dream — personal, collective, traumatic, or simply strange.
Through sound, body, and silence, the performers immerse the audience in a state of contemplation, play, self-irony, and memory.
This is a performance about vulnerability. About fatigue. About the freedom to be undefeated — and at the same time, tired.
Music — electronics, saxophone, noise.
Movement — between gesture and pause.
This is not a story. This is a state.
