Jam Factory Art Center is seeking a visionary and experienced Managing and Program Director to lead the institution into its next chapter. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of one of Ukraine’s most dynamic cultural organizations.
About the Position
The Managing and Program Director will oversee the strategic, artistic, and operational development of the institution. They will be responsible for guiding a team of employees across multiple artistic departments, ensuring a coherent vision and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of the institution.
- Develop and implement a dynamic and forward-thinking artistic and institutional strategy.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment across artistic departments.
- Strengthen partnerships locally and internationally.
- Secure funding and ensure financial sustainability.
- Represent the institution in public, professional, and governmental settings.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in leading a complex cultural institution or comparable organization.
- A background in the visual arts is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of the cultural, political, and social dynamics of Ukrainian society.
- Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and manage diverse teams.
- Visionary thinking with the ability to articulate and implement long-term goals.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in English and a profound command of Ukrainian. Knowledge of Polish and other local languages is welcome
