On August 3, the jazz trio of Rodion Ivanov, Maksym Hladetskyi, and Valeriy Volkov presents their program More than music at Jam Factory Art Center!
This legendary jazz trio, founded in 2003, returns to Lviv with a live performance. Their debut album More than words has become a classic of Ukrainian jazz. Over 22 years of collaboration, the trio has performed at major jazz festivals in Ukraine and across Europe, delivering music that resonates deeply, honestly, and without compromise.

Rodion Ivanov is a musician, composer, and producer — one of the leading Ukrainian keyboardists who has impressed audiences at home and abroad for years with his exceptional skill.
Maksym Hladetskyi is one of the most prominent Ukrainian double bass players, known for performing with jazz vocalists Denise Perrier and Sherry Williams, as well as legends such as Roy Young, Gary Guthman, and Kurt Jäger. He produced the sound for Jamala’s album Kirim and composes music for film.
Valeriy Volkov is a renowned Ukrainian drummer who, back in 1995, recorded an album featuring world-famous American jazz musicians Michael Brecker, Randy Brecker, and Dave Liebman.
Expect an evening of original compositions and jazz standards performed by a stellar piano trio.
