The contemporary jazz community FUSION JAMS is coming to Lviv with their famous jam session and a live show by community residents Yevhenii Dubovyk & Kyryllch!
At the duo show, expect original music in an acoustic setup (piano + saxophone!) — pieces that are usually played with a full quartet or quintet, plus fully improvised tracks shaped by different moods and moments.
Yevhenii Dubovyk is a composer, pianist, teacher, and session musician. Since late 2021, he’s been developing his own jazz project, Yevhenii Dubovyk Project, releasing eight instrumental singles and a piano mini-album. He’s also worked with artists and bands like Stas Korolov, Obiymy Doschu, Fiolet, Maria Lui Quintet, MOVA, MUR, Ziferblat, and more.
Kyrylo Cherkashin is a saxophonist, composer, teacher, and session musician. He’s deeply involved in the contemporary music scene and has collaborated with projects such as Ziferblat, BAH.ROMA, and Chubareenee. Under the name Kyryllch, he also releases his own music, blending electronic sounds with live instruments.
Both artists are FUSION JAMS residents, and the program is part of the Yevhenii Dubovyk Project.

FUSION JAMS is a Kyiv-based community and event series bringing young musicians together and creating space for collaboration and growth in contemporary instrumental and jazz music. Since 2019, they’ve hosted 100+ events, worked with over 600 musicians, and helped launch more than 10 new artists and bands on the Ukrainian scene. In 2023, FUSION JAMS also launched their independent contemporary jazz label No Time For Swing.
