Attend the first curatorial tour of the exhibition Beyond the Silence by Kateryna Radchenko and artists Daniel Orlando Lara Garcia (Mexico), Mykhaylo Palinchak (Ukraine), Daria Svertilova (Ukraine).
Kateryna Radchenko is a Ukrainian curator, founder of the international contemporary photography festival Odesa Photo Days and curator of the international project Beyond The Silence.
During the tour, Kateryna will share insights into the project’s development, the influences shaping its curatorial vision, and the significance of finding common ground among countries as diverse as Ukraine, Nigeria, Mexico, Myanmar, and Kazakhstan. The participating authors will also discuss their series, offering reflections on their creative process.
Language of the tour: Ukrainian and English without translation.
The project ‘Beyond the Silence’ turns to photography in an attempt to find a communication format that can convey genuine stories and show the connections and consequences of actions taken by authorities and individuals across the globe. The artists create a space for shared observation and reflection, looking for answers to pressing questions.
