On November 16 at 7:00 PM, the Kostiantyn Ionenko Quartet — led by renowned Ukrainian bassist and composer Kostiantyn Ionenko — will present their original program “Electric Elements”. This new project offers a fresh sound, blending electronic and acoustic textures to create a powerful musical atmosphere.
On stage:
- Borys Mohylevskyi (alto saxophone) — musician, saxophonist, music producer, teacher, and composer. He works across various genres (both electronic and acoustic), including experimental, improvised music, jazz, and fusion.
- Oleksandr Malyshev (piano) — pianist, keyboardist, arranger, and educator; one of Ukraine’s most versatile pianists. He has performed with leading domestic pop stars as well as top jazz musicians in Ukraine.
- Kostiantyn Ionenko (bass) — Ukrainian bassist and composer whose music has received international acclaim from critics and journalists. His albums have been released in Japan and Spain, and his previous release, “Noema”, was recognized as one of the best albums of the year on All About Jazz.
- Artur Frolov (drums) — versatile and virtuosic drummer, known for collaborating with a wide range of artists and ensembles, from contemporary jazz to show business. Winner of international jazz drumming competitions.
