At this open lecture, we will explore how contemporary AI tools work in music — what they are capable of, where their limitations lie, and how they are already being used in real-world workflows.
We will discuss how modern AI technologies are influencing music creation and the work of producers, artists, and listeners.
We will examine specific AI tools (sound, vocal, and effect generators, as well as mastering tools), their capabilities, and their limitations.
We will look at practical examples, including before/after comparisons, analysis of production workflows, and a discussion of the ethical and creative aspects of using AI in music.
