The plot focuses on Florian Yuriev, a Ukrainian architect, artist, composer, and visionary. On the eve of his 90th birthday, he learns that one of his most famous projects, the Flying Saucer on Lybidska Street in Kyiv, has been leased to a developer. Together with young architects and activists, he joins the fight to save his work, a symbol of Ukrainian modernism.
This is a film about dignity and loss, about the relationship between aesthetics, politics and urban space.
“Infinity: According to Florian” will be screened in the original language (Russian, Ukrainian) with Ukrainian subtitles. After the screening, we invite you to stay for the discussion.
