Jam session and concert by FUSION JAMS & Anna Solovei Trio

FUSION JAMS is back in Lviv! The jam at Jam Factory Art Center is happening on August 25 — here’s what to expect.

  • The evening will open with a performance by Anna Solovei Trio.
Anna Solovei is a bandura player who blends the sound of this traditional Ukrainian instrument with an unexpected style — jazz fusion. Complex harmonies, broken rhythms, play with time, shifting meters, and improvisation.
Helping to reveal the hidden potential of the bandura in her original music will be the core instruments of the style: drums, performed with multifaceted skill by Oleksandr Yavdyk, and bass, played by Anton Holinko, adding grooves and improvisational touches.
  • Then the jam session begins! Musicians from different backgrounds will share the stage, creating brand-new sounds together.
