As part of Lviv Sculpture Week, German sculptor Georg Wolf, in collaboration with Jam Factory Art Center, created and gifted the sculpture David to Lviv — as a gesture of support, solidarity, and respect.
At a special festival event, you will have the opportunity to personally meet the artist — the creator of public sculptures and a researcher of steel.
Georg Wolf will talk about his experience working with metal, the philosophy of steel, experiments with form, and the technique of forging, among other things.
This meeting is intended for young artists and sculptors — a chance to engage directly with a European artist and learn about his practice.
The event is organized in collaboration with Jam Factory Art Center and the Lviv National Academy of Arts.
